Kathmandu Short Film Fiesta on New Year 2070

ChhanyaChhabi Creation is organising the first Kathmandu Short film festival - 2013 on the special occasion of the nepali new year 2070 B.S.
Venue : Mandala Theater, Anamnagar, Kathmandu
Date    : Chaitra 30 2069 to Baisakh 1 2070 (April 12 - 14 2013)

In this festival, short films, cartoons, animation films, documentaries of any genre can take part but the lenght of the movies should be 5 to 45 minutes. In order to participate in this short film festival, the filmmakers should register their short film in the Chhanyachhabi's office located at Dillibazar. The jury will decide the top 3 short films and distribute prizes accordingly. In addition there will be "Best Fiction Short Film", "Best Documentary Short Film", "Best Animation Short Film", "Jury Award" and "Public Choice Award" titles.

This short film festival is organised with a motive to promote the nepali short films since a lot of quality short films have been created by Nepalese youngsters in the past and some of them had also been awarded in the International Film Festivals.

Lets promote nepali short films. Short Films can be an alternative to the current traditional Nepali Movie for the busy people who dont have enough time to spend for the whole movie.
